In terms of gold award honours, Lin Yongfeng's achievements are equally impressive: he has garnered four international gold awards – the Milan Design Award, Spain's AMA International Architecture and Design Award, Canada's 4 Future Awards, and the GFD Global Future Design Award – spanning key design hubs across Europe, America, and Canada.
Notably, both the Spanish AMA International Architecture and Design Award and the GFD Global Future Design Award prioritise forward-thinking concepts in their judging criteria. His gold-winning hotel design was lauded by the jury as ‘achieving a seamless fusion of hotel functionality with future lifestyles’.
Notably, in the Gold Key Awards – widely regarded as the Oscars of hotel design – Lin Yongfeng emerged as a finalist from over 430 global entries. In an interview, Lin Yongfeng stated that Extreme Space consistently upholds a design philosophy of ‘harmonising local culture with an international perspective’.
