来自总部的Camile Gribbons女士,作为资深用户体验设计师,与订单来了分享Booking针对渠道合作伙伴的无缝集成计划,也全面试用体验了订单来了PMS系统的功能板块和管理全流程,以更好地实现订单来了和Booking在产品内的融合。
在工作经历中,她不仅为渠道合作伙伴和酒店管理系统提供专业的无缝集成技术支持,也非常乐于前往世界各地,与更多人分享自己的行业洞察,进行探讨和互相学习。
在过去一个月里,订单来了已有超百个商家陆续上线Booking。目前,上线商家基本在2天内接到渠道预订订单。
如何根据平台特点进行基础设置、房源优化和日常运营,成为大家目前最关心的问题。
为了帮助有海外获客需求的商家更好地了解 Booking,我们本次特邀Camille,分享平台特点和运营技巧,为中国酒店民宿商家提供更多海外渠道运营思路。
这是Camille第一次到访中国,我们也和她聊了聊,作为入境游体验者的中国144小时。
Q:你在选择民宿或者酒店的时候,会考虑哪些维度的因素?
A:I actually first to make sure that they accepted my payment method. Because that's a big thing for foreigners to come to China is that I had to make sure that hotel could accept my credit card. Cuz we don't have Wechat pay or Alipay in Europe or in the US.
首先,我需要确保我预订的中国酒店接受我的付款方式。因为欧洲或者美国都没有微信支付或者支付宝。所以,对于外国人来说,支付是一件非常重要的事。我必须确保我预订的每一个酒店都能用信用卡支付。
Secondly, I look for the highest rated properties at the lowest price. So like Booking.com has ratings, a property could be 9 out of 10 and it's rated comes from the reviews.
除了支付便捷性以外,我会倾向选择评分最高、价格最低的酒店。就像Booking上也有评级制度,一家门店的点评分都来自于用户的评价,如果是10分制中的9分,我在预订时就会比较青睐这样的门店。
Q:中国商家第一次上线Booking最需要做好的3件事是什么?
A:First of all, good pictures, good quality pictures, and we recommend more than 10 photos. We have data to back this up. So the more photos you have, the better.
首先,我们建议上传超过10张照片以上的高质量照片。我们有相关数据支持这一结论,门店有更多的高质量照片,效果将会越好。
Seconly, after your property listing on Booking.com, you're gonna be bringing in a lot more European travelers. So it's super important not only to have good photos, but it to list all the payment methods you accept and also languages spoken or App translation at the property. Because as a foreigner coming to a foreign country where a lot of stuff is not familiar to me.
其次,当你的酒店在Booking上线后,就会接到很多欧洲旅行者的订单。所以除了好看的照片以外,还需要列出酒店接受的所有付款方式,以及最好在酒店内提供双语服务或者使用翻译App软件进行辅助。因为作为一个外国人来到一个陌生国家,对于很多东西并不熟悉。
For example, when I arrive to a hotel, like the hotel I'm staying at has all information written in Chinese and English, that would be a great way to welcome foreign travelers.
例如,当我到达一家酒店时,如果我住的酒店的所有设备和信息都有中文和英文的展示,这将让外国旅行者感受到被欢迎,是一个提升入住体验的好方法。
The more information that you can provide, the better. And we're also offering with the integration is that you can tag your photos for your all amenities and facilities.
For example, you tag a photo of swimming pool, then you will appear higher in search results on Booking.com and people are more likely to find you and book you.
最后,在门店信息中展示设施信息越多越好。Booking支持为门店所有设施照片添加关键词标签。比如,你可以在游泳池照片上标记泳池标签,那么你在平台就会获得更好的基础流量,在搜索结果中排序会更靠前,消费者将会有更大几率看到你的门店,并进行预订。

A:This is my first time in China.
这是我第一次来中国。
Q:你去过中国哪些城市?
A:I came in the Shanghai and then here to Hangzhou.
我先到达的上海,然后来到了杭州。
Q:和你印象里的中国一样吗?
A:It is more futuristic than I pictured. Like there's robots and it's feels very like far in the future. And I really like the cute designs and it looks more forward thinking than I expected.
中国比我想象的更具未来感,比如有机器人智能服务,感觉像未来世界。我也非常喜欢中国可爱的设计风格,一切都比我预期的更具前瞻性。
Q:如果是旅行的话,你会选择中国哪些城市?
A:I've heard a lot about Hong Kong. So Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing were on my list.
我之前听说过关于香港很多好吃好玩的,所以我大概率会首选香港、上海和北京作为我的中国旅行城市。
Q:你从哪些渠道了解中国?
A:I actually was a Mandarin major in university for one year around 11 years ago. I got to learn a bit about China. So I have been interested in China for a long time.
大约在11年以前,我曾经在大学里学习了一年中文。通过这段经历,我对中国有了一些了解,所以在很早以前我就对中国非常感兴趣。
