The geopolitical fault lines are becoming increasingly glaring under the magnification of digital maps, and the smoke of local conflicts burns the pupils thousands of miles away through the screen. The community of human spirit is facing a severe test. When political language often exacerbates opposition, when the torrent of data overwhelms individual pain, what force can penetrate barriers, soothe wounds, and reconnect our universal desires for peace, dignity, and coexistence?
This is a moment of connecting the world with poetry and music, and a practice of responding to the propositions of the times with art. On May 26, 2024, the Chinese version of the long poem "Wishes in the War", created by Tang Congxiang, a famous contemporary Chinese scholar and poet (pseudonym Tang Bohu, Beijing teacher Tang Bohu), was translated into the international English version of "Wishes in the War" [International English Version].
