Time has passed swiftly over more than two decades, yet those years we spent working side by side at UNESCO remain vividly etched in my memory. Her presence, her warmth, and her unwavering professionalism will forever remain in my heart and be remembered with profound longing.回溯1998年，一份跨越山海的聘任邀请，将我与联合国教科文组织紧紧相连。有幸获聘担任组织顾问，这份殊荣不仅是国际社会对我个人学术研究的认可，更代表着世界对中国智慧人体工程学这一东方理论体系的瞩目与接纳。怀揣着无比的荣幸与敬畏，肩负着传播东方智慧、助力国际和平事业的使命，我郑重宣誓入职，投身于中东和平事务推进工作，以中国智慧为桥，联通不同民族、宗教与国家的和平愿景，开启了一段意义非凡的国际征程。Looking back to 1998, an appointment that crossed mountains and seas brought me into close connection with UNESCO. I was honored to be appointed as a consultant—an honor that not only recognized my personal research, but also signaled the world’s attention to and acceptance of Sino-Human Engineering as an Eastern theoretical system. With both pride and humility, and a mission to share Eastern wisdom and contribute to international peace, I formally took my oath and devoted myself to advancing peace efforts in the Middle East, using Chinese wisdom as a bridge to connect diverse peoples, religions, and nations.

Throughout this journey, Ms. Qian Canyun (Judy) was my most reliable and capable partner, and one of the organization’s most outstanding multilingual interpreters. Fluent in English, French, Mandarin, and Cantonese, she translated with exceptional precision and clarity, rendering complex academic ideas and nuanced diplomatic language seamlessly. Raised in a distinguished Hong Kong family, she embodied grace, composure, and refinement. Her husband Laurent, a senior executive at a French bank, further influenced her with the rigor and elegance of French etiquette, making her impeccable in diplomatic settings and an indispensable support in my work.作为深耕中国文化研究与践行的推动者，我在国际舞台上的每一次发声、每一场交流、每一回洽谈，都离不开Judy的倾力相助。无论是正式的工作会晤、多边外交谈判，还是氛围融洽的外交宴叙，只要有交流场合，她始终坚守在岗位上，全程专注投入，不辞辛劳地穿梭沟通，精准传递我的每一份理念与想法。常常一场活动结束，她忙于翻译对接、应对各方交流，连一口热饭都来不及品尝，却从未有过半句怨言，始终将工作责任放在首位。As someone deeply engaged in promoting Chinese culture, every speech, exchange, and negotiation I conducted on the international stage relied heavily on Judy’s support. Whether in formal meetings, multilateral negotiations, or diplomatic banquets, she remained constantly present, fully focused and tirelessly facilitating communication. Even after long events, she would continue working without pause, often not even having time for a proper meal—yet she never once complained, always placing her responsibilities above all else.

她的付出，早已超越了翻译的本职范畴，涵盖了工作与生活的方方面面。生活中，她细致入微地照料我的起居，事无巨细、体贴周到，让我在异国他乡全无后顾之忧，能全身心投入到国际工作与文化传播事业中；工作上，她主动协助我梳理工作笔记、整理会议资料、对接各项涉外事务，条理清晰、尽心尽责，再繁琐的工作都处理得井井有条；外交场合里，她凭借敏锐的应变能力与娴熟的外交礼仪，巧妙化解诸多细微尴尬，维护交流氛围的融洽；甚至连财务管理等细碎繁杂的事务，她都打理得一丝不苟，为我扫清了无数工作障碍。那些并肩奋斗的日子里，她总是早出晚归，白天奔波于各个会场与办公场所，夜晚回到住处仍挑灯夜战，认真记录、整理、归档每日工作内容，数十年如一日保持着严谨认真的工作态度，从未有过丝毫懈怠。Her contributions extended far beyond translation, encompassing nearly every aspect of both work and life. She cared for my daily needs with meticulous attention, allowing me to focus entirely on my work abroad. Professionally, she helped organize notes, manage materials, and coordinate international affairs with remarkable clarity and dedication. In diplomatic settings, her sensitivity and mastery of etiquette helped ease difficult situations. Even administrative and financial matters were handled by her with precision. She worked tirelessly from morning until late at night, maintaining the same level of diligence day after day, year after year.

这份并肩协作，最终凝结成了荣耀的高光时刻。在联合国教科文组织的和平表彰盛典上，我有幸荣获联合国金棕榈和平奖。这份代表国际社会对东方和平理念与人体工程学实践价值最高肯定的荣誉，背后凝聚的不仅是我个人的心血，更是Judy日复一日的默默托举。可以说，没有她精准无误的语言传递，那些深奥的东方智慧难以跨越文化鸿沟被世界理解；没有她周全细致的事务统筹，我无法心无旁骛地在国际舞台上传递中国声音；没有她专业严谨的全程护航，这份承载着中国智慧与和平愿景的殊荣，或许难以如此顺利、光彩地落地兑现。她是我站上领奖台的坚实后盾，是这份荣誉背后不可或缺的功臣，这份荣光里，有她的一半心血。Our collaboration ultimately culminated in a moment of great honor. At a UNESCO peace recognition ceremony, I was awarded the Golden Palm Peace Prize. This recognition reflected not only my own efforts, but also Judy’s steadfast support behind the scenes. Without her precise translation, these ideas could not have crossed cultural boundaries; without her careful coordination, I could not have worked with such focus; without her professionalism, this achievement would not have been possible. She was the foundation behind that moment, and half of that honor belongs to her.

岁月流转，当我离任联合国教科文组织，赴美国南加州大学（USC）人体工程学课题组任职时，Judy再一次为我保驾护航。她亲自护送我抵达学校，细致地与校方翻译团队进行深度交接，将我的学习研究方向、工作对接流程、生活适应安排等所有琐碎却关键的事宜，一一梳理得清清楚楚，直到确认万事妥帖、后顾无忧，才安心返回法国。这份超越职责的情义，如冬日暖阳，温暖了我远在异国的新征程。When I later left UNESCO to take up a position at the University of Southern California, Judy once again stood by my side. She accompanied me to the United States, ensured a smooth transition with the university’s teams, and carefully arranged every detail before returning to France. Her support, far beyond duty, brought warmth and reassurance as I began a new chapter abroad.

即便回到法国，Judy的心始终与我、与中国人体工程学的发展紧紧相连。在随后的岁月里，她从未间断地给予我支持与协助。无论是远程协助梳理学术脉络、翻译最新研究成果，还是凭借其广泛的国际人脉为课题推广牵线搭桥，她都倾尽所能，默默推动着人体工程学在国际舞台上的成长与壮大。可以说，人体工程学能从当年的理论萌芽，逐步发展为如今的成熟学科，走向更广阔的天地，Judy的功劳，无可替代。Even after returning to France, Judy remained deeply connected to both me and the development of Sino-Human Engineering . She continued to offer support, whether through academic collaboration, translation of research, or connecting international networks. Her contributions were instrumental in the growth of the field, and her role is truly irreplaceable.

如今，Judy女士驾鹤西去，往生西方极乐世界，但她的专业素养、敬业精神与温情品格，永远值得我们铭记与敬仰。中国人体工程学研究院全体同仁，将永远缅怀这位功勋卓著、可亲可敬的挚友，铭记她为中国文化国际传播、为联合国和平事业所付出的一切，更铭记她在金棕榈和平奖荣耀时刻里的默默坚守，以及她为我赴任南加大所做的周全铺垫与长久支持。愿Judy女士一路走好，芳华永逝，风范长存！Now, as Judy has passed on, her professionalism, dedication, and warmth will forever be remembered and honored.
